Our Story

Katie and Stu met on Bumble in early 2023. The connection was instant—two adventure lovers swapping stories of travels near and far. After many dates filled with laughter and great conversation, we decided to put the relationship to the test with a road trip to Asheville for Katie’s 32nd birthday—just a few months after meeting. We laughed the whole way, no arguments. We both thought, “Okay… we might actually have a shot at this.”

So naturally, we decided to stress-test it again with an international trip. Just after our one-year anniversary, we flew to Norway to chase the Northern Lights. Another success. After two big trips with zero relationship meltdowns, Stu finally started to think that Katie might be the one.

One more stress test was in order: a road trip to Sedona, Arizona. That’s where it happened. Stu had secretly booked a private engagement tour at a beautiful vineyard. Under a stunning pergola, he dropped to one knee and got as far as “Will you mar—” before Katie excitedly shouted “YES!”

Since we first met, we’ve been on many adventures together—traveling through 14 U.S. states and 10 countries, with Stu happily chauffeuring Katie through two of those international countries. And we’re just getting started!
